What are your baby hats made from?
Our baby hats are made from a range of high-quality fabrics, from 100% recycled and bluesign® certified lightweight breathable polyester for sun hats, to ultra soft acyrlic knit for winter hats. All fabrics are soft on sensitive baby skin, and are UPF 50+ tested and cerified (excluding mesh ventilation).
What does UPF 50+ mean?
UPF 50+ is the highest sun protection rating available. It means just 1/50th or less of the sun's UV rays can are able to pass through the material, so you can rest assured that your baby's delicate skin is as protected as possible. For maximum sun protection, always combine a hat with high SPF suncream.
Do you have baby sun hats with chin straps?
Yes! Our range does include baby sun hats with chin straps to help them stay in place all day long. All our baby hat chin straps are quick release for added safety.
Can I wash my baby hat?
You can was your Sunday Afternoons baby hat. We recommend handwashing in cold water with gentle soap, and then leaving to air dry. Each product comes with specific care details.
