Baby Hats – Sun

Whether you're heading on holiday or for an afternoon at the park, we've developed a range of baby sun hats that deliver maximum sun protection for your baby, and are easy to fold up small and chuck in your day bag. Designed from lightweight and breathable fabrics, are baby sun hats are designed to be comfortable and effective at protecting your baby from the sun and heat.

If you're looking for a hat to get them through the colder months, we do also have a small range of warm winter hats for babies, all of which still come with the maximum sun protection rating of UPF 50+.

What are your baby hats made from?

Our baby hats are made from a range of high-quality fabrics, from 100% recycled and bluesign® certified lightweight breathable polyester for sun hats, to ultra soft acyrlic knit for winter hats. All fabrics are soft on sensitive baby skin, and are UPF 50+ tested and cerified (excluding mesh ventilation).

What does UPF 50+ mean?

UPF 50+ is the highest sun protection rating available. It means just 1/50th or less of the sun's UV rays can are able to pass through the material, so you can rest assured that your baby's delicate skin is as protected as possible. For maximum sun protection, always combine a hat with high SPF suncream.

Do you have baby sun hats with chin straps?

Yes! Our range does include baby sun hats with chin straps to help them stay in place all day long. All our baby hat chin straps are quick release for added safety.

Can I wash my baby hat?

You can was your Sunday Afternoons baby hat. We recommend handwashing in cold water with gentle soap, and then leaving to air dry. Each product comes with specific care details.
