Caps

Caps are a year-round hat staple. Chilled and practical, they're an easy and stylish way to shield your face from the sun. All our caps come with the maximum sun protection rating of UPF 50+, so you can diminish the sun, but never the fun!

At Sunday Afternoons, we've been crafting high performance sun hats for over 30 years, and we're pretty proud of the designs we've produced. As well as all having UPF 50+ sun protection, many of our caps are crushable and packable, so you can tuck them into your bag or suitcase without worrying. Designed to be lightweight and breathable, our sun caps will help keep you cool as the temperature climbs, so you can enjoy your time outdoors without squinting or overheating. We also have a range of trapper style caps for when winter rolls around.

While caps are very effective at shielding your face from the sun, if sun protection is your top priority, we recommend going for a wide brim option, or even a bucket hat, as these will also help shade your neck and ears. For maximum protection, choose a style that also has a neck flap.

Every Sunday Afternoons hat comes with a lifetime guarantee; we'll stand by them for as long as you stand under them.

What kinds of caps do you have at Sunday Afternoons?

Our sun caps are mainly a traditional baseball shape, or the slightly boxier trucker style. We have several super lightweight styles which are ideal for playing sports, or for wearing while running. For the colder months, we also have a range of quilted trapper hats that'll keep your head and ears warm in the coldest climates.

Do you have caps for babies and kids?

Yes! We have a small range of infant caps, as well as a selection of brightly coloured options for kids. Where possible, we've designed our hats to grow alongside your children, with adjustable fits for growing heads.

Are any of your caps waterproof?

Yes, some of our caps are completely waterproof, with others are water repellent, so they'll offer some protection from rain. Take a look at the product description for each cap to check its specifications.
