What hat is best for the sun?
When it comes to protecting yourself from the sun, any hat is better than no hat. But for maximum protection, go for a wide brim style with a neck cape, as this will keep more of your face, neck, and ears in the shade. All our sun hats are made from lightweight, breathable material, and have a UPF 50+ sun protection rating.
What does a UPF 50+ sun rating mean?
A UPF 50+ sun rating is the highest sun protection rating available. When a material is rated UPF 50+, it means only 1/50th or less of the sun's UV rays are able to pass through. So you can diminish the sun, but not the fun!
